Most diverse UK Parliament ever

The 2017 elections have put more black and minority ethnic (BAME) MPs into the UK parliament than ever before. While India celebrates Labour’s Preet Gill — the first ever woman Sikh MP — and Tanmanjeet Singh, the first turban-wearing Sikh to sit in the 650-member parliament, here’s a look at how diversity has scored big in the 2017 polls.
